Laur's Blog - a composer and arranger.

Its time to add another entry to this work and was finding it hard to find something to write about and I was reviewing my wifes blog at Laura's Blog and thought I would give Laura and her new site a shameless plug.

Laura is a very talented composer, arranger and teacher. She has not been as productive as a composer and arranger until as of late. But ever since I have redone her website to include a blog, a shopping cart with the means via a desktop application to update her site on her own I see her less and less.

She spend most of her time composing now and preparing a book of Christmas songs and has set a deadline of Nov. 18th 2007. She also has had time to make a few blog entries about a local concert by Arne Sahlen and an article about a musical love triangle that those music history buffs will want to check out.

Over all I am please with the site, She loves it and I just need to do some more SEO on it to get it some traffic.

Since this blog is about Music, Teachers and being at the office I thought this would be a good way to start to expand the scope of topics on this blog and will start to add more articles about teaching and the business of teaching music.

The Original MTO has a new Name!

Over the past few weeks I have rebuilt the original Music Teacher's Office for private music teachers and have renamed it Private Music Teacher's Office or Private MTO.

I did this for a number of reasons. One, it was dated and needed an update. Two, it is really the same application as MTOPro but with out features so it will really be like maintaining one set of code rather than two. Three, I have added an advertising scheme to the teaching pages to generate some revenue to keep things going.

All in all I am very happy with the new product as the features now will make it easy for users to go from one MTO to the next.

You can get all the information and download at Music Teacher's Office
